Delicious Crabs In Coconut Milk




Let's go for Seafood and Seafood cooked in coconut milk is very common in Filipino Cuisine which goes perfectly when eating rice, just be careful if you are watching your sugar or if you are diabetic because it might require you to have more rice.

However, Crab is packed with nutrients but low in calories and an excellent addition to your healthy eating plan. It is also a good source of vit A, B and C and more.

Try this mouth watering recipe for your next meal, enjoy and share it!

See the cooking procedure below and how it is done. I also googled it and double check some of the information, it is best to do it our way but it is also good idea to check out other recipes and improved or learn more from them.

Ingredients:

2 Kilo blue crabs (Alimasag) whole or cut each in half
3 tbsp shrimp paste
1 tbsp fish sauce or to taste
2 tsp garlic, minced
1 medium-sized onion, minced
1 knob ginger, cut into thin strips
4 tbsp cooking oil
5 cups coconut milk
½ tsp ground black pepper
1 bunch fresh spinach
8 pieces Thai chili

Cooking Procedure:

Saute garlic, onion and ginger in a large pot.

Then add the ground black pepper and coconut milk then bring to a boil

Add the shrimp paste and fish sauce and let it cook until coconut milk’s thick and natural oil comes out of it 

Add the Thai chili and simmer for 3 to 5 minutes

Put the crabs in the pot and mix until evenly covered with coconut milk. 

Let is simmer for 5 to 20 minutes or until cooked.

Finally, add the spinach and simmer for another 5 minutes

Serve hot. Share and Enjoy!
