Baguio Flower Festival 2013

                            Picture

This time of year most people are heading to Baguio not just because of the nice cold weather but because of the Panagbenga or Flower Festival.

I've been to Baguio many times but never really witnessed this Festival and hopefully in the near Future I will. But I have heard so much about it and who would not want to see this kind of event, a Flower Float Parade, so unique everywhere which I think is really amazing and worth seeing.

Panagbenga (locally known) or Baguio Flower Festival has officially started last February 1,2013 at Panagbenga Park to Athletic Bowl.

This is a month long annual flower festival in Baguio, the Summer Capital of the Philippines. And the theme 2013 Panagbenga is "A Blooming Odyssey."

Februay 23 is a Grand Street Dancing Parade at Panagbenga Park to Athletic Bowl.

Then the Grand Float Parade is scheduled today February 24 at the  Panagbenga Park to Athletic Bowl.

And February 25 to March 3 is Session Road in Bloom at Session Road.

The venue for the closing ceremony will be at the Athletic Bowl on March 03, 2013.

I am pretty sure everybody is enjoying and hopefully it does not rain so they can fully enjoy the event till the end.
