Island of Boracay

Finally I was able to have vacation, my most awaited vacation. Been busy working and just could not find the time to do it, although I know I needed to make time for it.  Went to a very relaxing Island get away......

This is my most awaited and much needed vacation. So i grab the chance and had my 3 days stay relaxing get away in Boracay Island.

Maybe not everybody heard of Boracay Island, but i am sure most would know where Philippines is. Officially know as the Republic of the Philippines, country in Southeast Asia in the Western Pacific Ocean. It is also known the Pearl of the Orient. The Philippines is a humid and hot tropical country.

It has nice beaches that is considered by many travelers to be the World's Top Seaside Spots. And Boracay Island is just a short one hour flight from the bustling metropolis of Manila.  Manila is the Capital of the Philippines.

Although  Boracay Island is only 7kms.long, it is blessed with a multitude of picturesque coves, rolling hills and sandy beaches, including the world famous WHITE Beach. The place is wonderful. The combination of sparkling beauty and tourist attractions along this beach dominate the island.

If you are adventurous, a full array of scuba diving activities are available. The Island offers different kind of activities that you can enjoy during your visit, they have the Island Fun Tours, Buggy & ATV, Scuba Diving, Zipline and a lot more. I went for the Island Fun Tour, which was really fun, the view was amazing and i tried the Buggy as well. These activities can end up in an evening swim or you might simply prefer to lose yourself in the majesty of an ocean sunset. There are restaurant that offers really good food, from fresh sea foods to your favorite Pizza. The Island have so much to offer, from Live Band to just having a beer while sitting near the beach.

Most Hotels are near the beach and you can check on line, which one you prefer. It would be advisable to have Hotel reservations for a day, then you can look around if want to stay somewhere else or on other hotels. Hotels are close to each other, only some are located on a quiet beachfront. There is what they call station 1, station 2 and station 3. I think station 2 is where the Party place is.

I enjoyed my 3 days vacation, met some friends and took lots of pics too. Maybe i can go back there someday again, just not sure when. It is all worth it, so much fun and no wonder so many tourist are visiting Boracay, if you want to relax, then Boracay is One of the Place to be. It is also good to try other places, new views, new experience and new adventures. but need to work and to work on that...the budget, hehe!

Just a reminder, if you are planning to go for an Island Tour, Scuba Diving, Zipline and other activities in the island, it would be best to go around and check out offered prices because some of them are offering  free meal (for the island tour) eat all you can and other for lower deal. Look around and meet the friendly people of Boracay!

So if you want to try visiting the Philippines, you might want to try visiting Boracay Island. But in anywhere you go and any place, always be safe and never leave your things unattended, just be safe!

Here are some pics, few to share....

It's the best beach there is in the Philippines.
I went here often enough that I no longer take tours aside from the ATV which I still enjoy.. for the most part, I just relax by the beach and lounge in the hot sun while watching people pass by..
Nice to hear to had a great time!!!

  23. I love the sand of Boracay in Station one~! I celebrated my birthday in Boracay way back 2009 and 2010. I would never forget about my paragliding adventure and deep sea diving in Boracay. Things that I'd love to do once again but would never be allowed by my neurosurgeon.

  24. Thanks for all the comments!

It is really nice in Boracay, pero medyo butasin din ang bulsa natin.

Just a tip, basta mas okey if online ka mag check ng airfare, kse minsan me mga promo sila na talaga mas affordable naman, ung lang you need to choose doon sa mga date na binibigay nila...

un ang di ko nakita, kaya mahal ung ticket nakuha ko, kse i did not know that time.

Then for the hotel accomodation P2,500 ung nakuha namin, so mas mura if me ka share talaga. Wla akong nakita lower doon eh. 2 days 3 nights, station 2 kame.

Check out this for hotel accomodation: http://www.agoda.com/asia/philippines/boracay_caticlan.html

Then sa foods naman, 1k to 1,500 per person siguro...wlang inuman un neh.

Ung sa Island fun tour, make sure to look around kse ung unang price namin is 750 pero without the free meal, then ung second offer is 750 pero merong eat all you can na un...Marami nag aalok to tour you around, so better check out other prices as well.

Pag me hotel accomodation, susunduin ka naman, kaya less gastos un...

Ung ibang bilihin mahal talaga, imagine ung buco P100, not sure if nakabaso un,hehehe, baka straw lang libre, lols!

Masaya, pero butas bulsa after that,,kaya might take a while bago makabalik, pero next time mag baon ako, hehe!

Kayo na bhalang mag compute, more likely how much nagastos...Di ako magaling sa Math eh,lols! Im sure depende naman if medyo limited budget mo, pagkasyahin mo lang or maybe sky is the limit diba. But no matter how you do it, still so much fun in Boracay, more fun in Boracay, hehe!

Ay Oo nga pala me libre doon....libre mag beach, hehe!

    Have fun!

  26. you've visited at the right time - if you went there during the peak of summer (holy week) you wouldn't probably enjoy a lot because of the huge crowd...

boracay is still one of the best beaches in the country but is so commercialized...
